Jill Hicks Lawson is the Administrator of the SCC – Clinton Center in Albany and the SCC – McCreary Center in Whitley City, which are regional campuses of Somerset Community College (SCC). As a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), SCC’s mission is to offer a high-quality, targeted education to meet the professional and personal goals of all Kentuckians with the vision to be the first choice for higher education and workforce training in the Southern Kentucky region.

Jill is a native of Monticello, KY, and a 1984 graduate of Monticello High School. She received an MS degree in Organizational Communication from Murray State University, a BA degree in Paralegal Studies from Morehead State University, and an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology from KCTCS. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College Business Management Institute and is a KY Licensed Funeral Director. Jill is married to Steven G. Lawson and is a member of Albany First Baptist Church.
